We are hiring Cloud Security Lead!
The Cloud Security Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, design, implementation, and management of cloud security solutions to protect the organization's data and infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the security of cloud environments and providing leadership in addressing security challenges. The Cloud Security Lead will also play a critical role in developing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and driving security initiatives.
- Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: • Lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies and roadmaps.
- • Provide guidance and leadership to the cloud security team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- • Advocate for security best practices and foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Security Architecture and Design: • Design and implement secure cloud architectures and solutions.
- • Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance cloud security.
- • Collaborate with the architecture team to integrate security into cloud infrastructure designs.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): • Develop and manage IAM strategies and solutions to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.
- • Implement IAM policies, procedures, and controls to manage user identities, roles, and permissions.
- • Monitor and review IAM systems for compliance with security policies and standards.
- • Work with IT and application teams to integrate IAM solutions into cloud-based and on-premises systems.
- Policy and Compliance: • Develop, enforce, and monitor cloud security policies and procedures.
- • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Risk Management and Incident Response: • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- • Lead incident response efforts for cloud-related security incidents.
- • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Collaboration and Training: • Work closely with DevOps, IT, and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
- • Provide training and mentorship to team members on cloud security practices.
- • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure robust security solutions.
- Monitoring and Reporting: • Implement and manage security monitoring tools and processes for cloud environments.
- • Regularly review and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to detect and respond to threats.
- • Prepare and present security metrics and reports to senior management.
- Skills & Requirement:
- Experience and Knowledge:
- • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Strong understanding of cloud security architectures, frameworks, and best practices. • In-depth knowledge of security technologies and tools such as IAM, encryption, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management. • Experience with security compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Technical Skills:
- • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center). • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Shell, Terraform). • Knowledge of container security, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. • Knowledge in system OS and networking. • Experience with IAM systems and solutions, including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, SSO, and MFA.
- Certifications: • Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Additional Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification is highly desirable.
