We are hiring Finance Controller (8 months maternity cover/Office based)!
We are looking a finance controller to manage full accounts, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Oversee Finance Team and ensure smooth operations. Develop budgets, forecasts, and analyze financial data. Ensure internal controls and support strategic decisions with management. Handle ad-hoc tasks for Malaysia start-up.
- Responsibilities:
- • Perform full set of accounts and ensure in compliance with respective accounting standards.
- • Responsible for financial and management reporting.
- • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements including financial and operational policies and procedure.
- • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and coordinate submission of tax returns, where applicable, with an external consultant.
- • Oversee and manage the Finance Team to ensure smooth flow and timeliness of financial operations.
- • Develop budgets, financial forecasts and variance analysis to support planning and resource allocation.
- • Examine financial data by conducting comprehensive analysis of financial statement, cashflow status, and project performance, etc.
- • Strategic partner with top management and HODs to align financial goals with company objectives.
- • Assist in Ad-hoc requirements from Senior Management in Malaysia start-up business.
- Skills & Requirement:
- • At least 8 years of working experience in accounting/finance, strong knowledge in both Singapore and Malaysia.
- • Must have working experience from Construction and Chinese Healthcare / Life Science Industry.
- • Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
- • In-depth understanding of accounting standard (SFRS), project accounting and familiarity with financial and management reporting.
- • Strong knowledge on taxation for both Singapore and Malaysia is preferable.
- • Strong business insight with ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- • Hands-on experience in managing finance operation and ERP system procedures.
- • Expertise in financial planning, risk management and internal controls.
- • Experience with investment strategies, cash management, etc.
- • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Assist in ad-hoc requirement from Senior Management.
